Or not...
The shower is still leaking when I take a shower. Great. Looks like the sink may be as well.
Ugh.
Ugh.

An update on what the hell I'm doing...
Well, the bathroom is finally done. It only took 10 or 11 months to get to this point. The guy kind of half-assed some aspects of it, but overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
The past few days I've been running around my house like a crazy person. Putting comics away, reboxing some comics (hey, those 10-11 months plus stuff from a convention really adds up!), and all kinds of crap. Going through my closet and all the boxes NOT filled with comics to see what really needs to be up here. If it's not something I deem important, it's going down into the basement. All of that's just about done.
I rearranged the bookcase in my bedroom. Out of the 5 shelves on it, the bottom 3 were stuff that needed to go into the basement. The top 2 were novels. I spent yesterday bringing the novels into this room and moved all of my Marvel, DC, Vertigo, Wildstorm, and Image trades onto that bookcase in my bedroom. No idea where my Mirage, Dark Horse, IDW, Oni, Top Shelf, etc trades/graphic novels will go, but at least the majority of my books are on the same bookcase for the first time in years.
Speaking of the bedroom, it turns out I might have to rearrange it because the windows need to be replaced. I was thinking of rearranging it anyway, so I guess this is as good a reason as any to get on that.
About the only thing left to move is 2 pieces of wood that actually go onto the desk this computer is on. Problem is, I'll have to turn the computer off and pull the desk out from the corner it's in because things have to be nailed from the other side. Another problem is I don't have the proper pieces for it because I fucked up when putting the desk together to begin with. *Looks at instructions for the desk* I fucked up on the first step? Yeah...this ought to be fun.
The living room/this room is next on my agenda. I had an idea to turn this into the "chill spot" for me and my friends since 2008 but the whole bathroom situation that started in mid-2009 kind of put that on the backburner. I've already made some progress on that front in two days. I'm trying to turn it into a "legit" room so that's why all the comics and trades are out of here. Plus I won't have to buy a monstrous entertainment center to replace the one I currently have, which looks like it will collapse with a strong gust of wind. Something that's pleasing to the eye AND functional is what I'm aiming for, and that's pretty much all I need to pull this off.
I might sign myself up for a 2 page story in some kind of themed anthology. I wouldn't get any word cash, but at least I'd be published in something other than an interview book with senior citizens.
Hopefully this week or next, I'll be able to start devoting time to Unnamed Project with Tim. Sadly I haven't thought of it much since our email exchanges last month. Things are still touch-and-go as far as me having some kind of schedule and time to think stuff through, but at least it's something I can see now...as opposed to two months ago when I was any combination of stressed, upset, depressed, and exhausted.
More as it develops...
